Digitally transforming SMEs: My goal three years ago. And today?

Today, with Synerma, we are a well-coordinated team of eight IT experts. Thanks to our direct and transparent communication, we can efficiently tackle complex projects.

But the journey has been anything but straightforward! Without prior experience as an entrepreneur, I made mistake after mistake – and learned the following lessons:

• As a founder, you have to be prepared to work hard. Much more than I initially thought. However, since I enjoy the work so much, it’s not a problem.

• If you want to contact someone, you should just do it. In the worst case, you’ll get a "no" as a response. In the best case, it could lead to a long-term partnership that benefits both sides immensely.

• You never stop learning. Especially in IT, it's essential to keep educating yourself and connecting with others to stay up-to-date and discover new opportunities.

I’ve given my best. But without the support of my environment, I would have had no chance. A big thank you to my family, friends, colleagues, and customers. Thanks to your help, we’ve grown from a one-man operation into an agile team!
